Technology Business incubator
ITL Labs is in the process of setting up a Technology Business Incubator shortly. Since there are plenty of small scale plastic and rubber processing industries as well as new entrants are coming up who do not have adequate technical backup but have financial strength and zeal to start a new industry, there is a need to setup a TBI that can provide suitable infrastructure as well as know how to these industries. Besides promoting new entrepreneurs, it is essential for the existing industries to regularly upgrade the knowledge of their man power. The proposed TBI will become a centre for technical training to the personnel working in sindustries.
Objectives of TBI:
- To develop new entrepreneurs.
- To organise awareness / orientation and entrepreneurs development programme.
- To provide training to the entrepreneurs and work force of the industries.
- To create avenues for employment to the people and expanding the existing level of knowledge.
- To identify the struggling industries falling in the thrust areas.
- To support these industries in making them competitive with respect to product quality, price, output and process waste utilization.
- By optimizing the existing process with respect to suitable raw material selection, formulation and waste minimization.
- By indigenising the manufacturing process with the aim to save the foreign exchange.
- By exploring the possibility for conversion of industrial waste into a value added product.
- By substituting the existing process with eco-friendly manufacturing process.
